Island Current

An original Nurikabe adaptation with twelve uniquely solved 5×5 and 6×6 puzzles and seeded rotations/reflections. Every island has exactly one number and that many cells; islands stay separated, the sea connects orthogonally and 2×2 sea blocks are forbidden.

Solo has optional counted hints. Local uses exactly two people, independent grids and separate active clocks behind private device handoff. Online uses exactly two, three or four humans racing one identical puzzle with an eight-minute shared clock; completed solutions are rule-checked and ranked by host-observed finish time. Unfinished players tie at the bottom. Casual host-managed results are unverified. No reconnect or host migration.
